Dayo Okewale

Dayo Okewale is the Founder and Managing Director of Who’s Got Game Basketball, the organisation specialises in using sport as a tool for social change and development. Former professional basketball player, Dayo believe is an underused medium for teaching and instilling life and social skills, he is passionate with the in promoting the use of sport as a tool for education and change.

Dayo Okewale comes from a background Pro basketball, having played nationally, and internationally with experience totalling over ten years, and basketball coaching experience of five years, a level 3 qualified basketball coach, an international sports trainer with experience working Globally with different cultures. He has a Business BA Honours Degree and great leadership experience.Having established Who’s Got Game in 2008 it has grown to a highly successful company working with an extensive list of corporate organisations, athletes and non-athlete clients. He previously held a new business role with a top finance company and prior to that roles in Operations and Internal Services.Dayo also has over four years experience in the financial services sector.

Dayo also believes that sport is a brilliant, underused tool engagement; and that the convening power of sport itself creates a genuine opportunity to drive and sustain change.

Dayo also works in the UK government at the House of Lords and is also part of the UNESCO Human Rights Global Integration forum alumni and leadership program, having published articles and essays on children’s human rights and child poverty and an international sports trainer working with the International Sports and Culture Association and hosting international sports training projects for the British Council and EU.

Dayo is also a big hip-hop fan and loves travelling and attending concerts.
